Kay Warren, LCSW is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over 10 years of therapy experience and almost 15 years healthcare experience. She has worked at major hospitals, primary care clinics, nonprofit organizations and assisted living/nursing homes.
Kay earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from The University of Michigan and subsequently her Master of Social Work degree from The University of Michigan. Kay uses both physical and mental health tools to understand the individual completely with the ability to articulate the connections between mind and body and how our physical health contributes to our mood and vice versa.
Kay's primary interests include perinatal and reproductive mood disorders, Family Based Treatment, and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy for adolescents and adults as well as assessment and pre/post-operative guidance for bariatric surgery patients.
Kay's style is direct and compassionate; she focuses on providing feedback and tools to help each of her clients reach their identified goals. Kay studied in South America during her college years and is conversational in Spanish.
In her personal time, Kay enjoys traveling, spending time with family, music, and theater.
